Privacy Policy — Bowling Hero

Bridze Innovations Private Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates the Bowling Hero mobile application (the "App"). This policy explains what information the App handles and how. Bowling Hero is designed for young cricket bowlers aged 6–19, so we take children's privacy seriously.

2. Information the App handles

Bowling Hero is offline-first. The information you enter is stored locally on your device by default and is not sent to our servers (we do not operate any servers that receive your data).

• Profile information you enter: player name, age, bowling style, favorite bowler, academy name. Stored locally on the device.
• Profile photo (optional): You may add a photo for a player profile, chosen from your device's camera or photo gallery. The photo is resized and compressed on your device before being saved and is stored locally, in the same way as other profile information. It is not uploaded anywhere by us. If you enable the optional Google Drive backup, the photo is included in that backup to your own Google Drive, in the same way as other practice data. You can remove a profile photo at any time from the Profile screen.
• Practice data: ball-by-ball records, session statistics, notes, achievements. Stored locally on the device.
• Microphone / voice input (optional): When you tap the microphone button to record a ball result by voice, your speech is processed by your device's speech-recognition service to convert it to text. On some devices/platforms this audio may be sent to the operating system's speech provider (for example, Google's speech-to-text service) for transcription. We do not store audio recordings. Voice input is optional — the App works fully by tapping buttons instead.
• Google Drive backup (optional): If you choose to connect Google Drive, a backup file of your practice data is saved to a private, app-specific folder in your own Google Drive. This data goes only to your Google account; we cannot access it. You control this feature and can disconnect at any time.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
• We do not show third-party advertisements.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs that profile you.
• We do not collect data on our own servers.

4. Children's privacy

The App is intended for children and teenagers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what the child (or their parent/coach) chooses to enter locally on the device for their own practice tracking. Because data stays on the device (or in the user's own Google Drive if they enable backup), a parent or coach who controls the device controls the data.

Parents/guardians can review or delete their child's data at any time by using the in-app delete/export controls or by uninstalling the App.

5. Permissions the App requests

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): only for the optional voice-input feature. Requested at the time you first use it. Denying it does not affect any other feature.
• Internet: used only for the optional Google Drive backup and to load the App. No practice data is transmitted to us.

6. Third-party services

If you enable optional features, the following third parties may process data under their own privacy policies:

• Google Drive & Google Sign-In — policies.google.com/privacy
• Device speech-to-text (e.g., Google) for voice input — governed by your device platform's privacy policy

7. Data retention & deletion

Local data remains until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. Google Drive backups remain in your Drive until you delete them. To request any assistance, email connect@bridzeai.com.

8. Your rights

Because your data is stored on your own device/Drive, you can access, export (JSON backup), or delete it yourself at any time within the App.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
